| This is a special art site as it is easily accessible and has a great variety of subjects, from whales, stingray, kangaroo and ancestral spirit figures. This site inspired me in 2006 to devise a way of lighting the rock engraving sites of Sydney as I realised that they were slowly fading and I wanted to preserve them in photographic form. I use a small hand torch and I pass light over the engravings during a long camera exposure of about 60 seconds. ©solness |
The mood and colour of the snow gums changes distinctly with the seasons. |
